In 2006 the Lincoln and the F-150 shows 2 headlamps available. The "bright headlight option" and the "colored headlamps". I assume the colored means smoke and the bright is the clear headlamps that come standard. I dont see an option for any HID headlamps.

Don't be banking on Ford/Lincoln coming out with any HID's in the near future. All the research I've been seeing done is on LED technology. There was a recent video clip on BlueOvalNews that showed a Lincoln MKS sedan and adaptive LED technology. The headlights, marker lights, and now side turning lights were all LED.
