yes I know what your talking about 96_4wdr and my van does not have that flexi pipe and then again it has not broken yet, I do have the flexi pipe on my 93 exploder though with the same engine as the aero 4.0 I would think that the pipe on my aero is the original as well, (we don't get any salt on the roads in florida).
