Just cap the one side. The turbo will be able to build more boost, and if you have a tune installed the wastegate won't open, and if you then get to 25psi or so the computer will defuel the engine to reduce boost and set off the CEL. If you have no tune or are runnng a tow tune you should have no issue. Worst case is the light.

Hink10, Did you get the one for the excursion? It shoud be S6204 ending in AL, 409 or 304. If so, shouldn't it have fit without cutting?

Yeah, it was the Excursion exhaust. I could have left it, but the tip stuck out farther than I would like. Without the tip, it was about right.
