Pyrometer
I was looking at a used banks pyrometer it doesnt have the sending unit. Will any sending unit hook up to it as long as its the same being electric or mechanical?

I think the proble has to be the same as the gage, my autometer pyro instructions state that modifying the leads in lengh or changing the probe to ones not made my autometer will throw the gage out of calabration, i would assume it would be true with other pyros

Yes, you need to get the right probe for the right gauge and follow whatever wiring instructions that come with the set if you want a gauge that is calibrated and will work acurately.
