I just went to the hardware store and got some stainless steel carrage bolts for my 66'. Got them a little oversized to make up for the age of the bed. Had to file the frame rail holes a little for the extra size. But they work great.
They are 7/16", if I remember correctly, and uncommon at hardware stores. I think I used bumper bolts with the stainless caps on the heads. Got them at a bumper plater.

I swappped beds on my 65 several yrs ago...even with a camper on it for many of the yrs...the new bolts look horrible now....look like 20 yr old bolts....
If anyone has, or knows of where I can get a good clean set where you can read the head markings and all...let me know....
