Dash Mounted Ignition Switches?

What years did had the dash mounted Ignition Switches with the Doubled Sided Longer key?

I know I can get teh switch, cylinder, and bezel's new from Blue oval - but can you buy the wiring "Pigtail" that goes into the back of the switch? I don't need the whole harness just the end with some wiring sticking out.

The problem is that the switch isn't going into a truck that has this type of harness - it's going in a '33 Ford P/U so I need that Pigtail Piece. Any body selling them or is there anybody here on the board who is parting out these trucks who might have one they could cut out and sell me?
I also need to know what wires go where? - I guess that depends on the year???? I'm not to familar with later model Fords (I.E. - built after 1952)

Any info/leads would be great.

i would have posted this in the "WTB" section - but I thought people who read this section would know a little more and it might get more traffic here.

Thanks,
Andy

My 1980 keyswitch is in the column. Any reason why you don't use a universal type switch with the screw terminals on it?

I like the Key on this style switch.
Most of the Universal switches have a short style key like you would use for a pad-lock or on your lawnmower. Not to mention the quality isn't as good as a factory style switch.

I just like the "concave" part and the key itself.

If I end up with a universal one it will be the GM styled key (but I rather try to find a pig tail to fit this year range of trucks, as I can buy the switch, cylinder, key new.

Thanks for your help guys.

try a bone yard I know 71-79 trucks used the "long two sided key"in the dash. Bring a wire cutter a hammer and a meduim sized screwdriver the switch just unplugs frrom under the dash cut the harness at the lenght you want use the screwdriver and hammer to unscrew the bezel and you can get the switch mount and all for cheap
