Hi guys,
Im having problems with the temp gauge on my Ranger. Once the tuck is warmed-up, If the rpm's go above 3000, the temp gauge will slowly drop to cold . It returns to normal when I shift and rpms return to 2000 or so. The truck did this once before under warrenty and Ford changed the T-stat and has worked great since. So far I changed the T-stat heater control valve (leaking) and temp sensor. When I had the lower hose off I could see a little of the water pump vanes and they looked ok. The truck never overheats too.
Hopefully someone has seen this before. Could radiator be partially clogged??????
Thanks in advance for the help!!!
