302 and c6?
Hey all,
I have a 75 F100 that originally had a 390 bolted up to a c6 tranny. Will a 302g
bolt up to the c6? What mods would be necessary if any? thx

no only an fe will bolt up.you can get a c6 for a 302.

So a c6 for a 1975 390 is different than a c6 for a 1975 302? Weird. Thanks 312.

Yeah, Ford likes to change the bellhousing A LOT. Every engine series has to have it's own transmission housing. It makes swapping them so much more interesting.
