7.3 engine with a "grunt/miss"

97' truck---formally owned by hypermax then i got it ...anyways it's got all their stuff on it...everything for the 97 model year diesel engine--is on this truck...stage 1 injectors--anyways--it's a 5 speed...the excursion they have is a 2000 and it does this too---im wondering is this maybe just how these 7.3's are?...it has like a "miss" (if u'll call it that) or "grunt"....wen it's cold and u let it sit and idle for a while you REALLY notice it outa the exhaust...once it's warm...it's still ther eouta the exhaust but not as much----you notice it in the engine all the time----warm cold...watever...ALWAYS there----yet it gets up and runs just fine ...i can feel it in the shifter too very slightly(it's a 5 speed truck).....but---it's done this for 40K miles--(maybe wen hypermax owned it it had the same problem)...anyways---im just wonderin does anybody else have this issue....or is this normal for the 7.3's?
