Guys, sorry to say but my great '95 Bronco is no more. It was stolen in broad daylight from the parking lot at work... and being it was Chandler Arizona, one of the auto theft capitals of the world, I probably will never see it again. It's a shame after all the stuff I did to it, a lot of it from tips and advice from here. Maybe I'll get a '96 some day...
sorry about your Loss.... my heart goes out to ya! I have had 2 vehicles stolen in my life.. got them both back... was able to sell one after fixing Trunk lock and Steering column...
I have been having some crappy problems with my 84 Bronco XLT lately... even threatened it by telling it I would by a "CHEBY" if it didn't start - 5 minutes later it fired up!
That sucks. I had truck stolen from Gilbert a few years ago. The crappy part about it is I heard it drive off. My sis came in about 10 min later and asked me where my truck was. Luckly I got it back the next day. I had filled the tank and I reset the trip on it. When I got it back it had 15 miles on it. They took my quad (that was in the back) stereo and battery. Hope you can get as lucky as me. Keep us posted.
you mean the police cant find it for you? give them pics and then go to place where they have used car parts....bring a cellphone with a camera, or a small digital camera, keep it concealed!!! if you see parts that MAY be from your truck, take a picture, and tell the police. just a little amateur detective work!
a (insert late model year here, I'm guessing 2001-2003) Acura TL was stolen from our neighbours driveway a few weeks ago.
it was quite shocking, i had know no one that had a car stolen until then.
apparently the russian mob is involved with stealing cars in my area. (according to the police)
the funny part (if there is one) is that my truck and my brother's old jeep were blocking any of the good cars in our driveway from possibly being stolen! (2001 4-Runner fully loaded 4x4 tow package (last of the made in Japan ones), 2004 Impreza)

getting a vehicle stolen is a completely helpless feeling, I had two stolen from me when I lived in New Orleans.
I often thought about installing a simple kill switch on the key and mounting it somewhere hidden and every time I parked in a questionable area, I could just flip the switch so that when the signal comes from the key switch, it wouldn't work until the second switch is activated.
I never did it though, after your story, I might though. I never thought anyone would try and steal a Bronco, they usually go for common cars as to be less noticable.
I hope you are able to get your truck back, I got mine back but I don't think you want to hear the condition they were in.
Wow! not sure which would be worse... losing your bronco or losing your wife. LOL of course losing your ........ bronco would be harder to replace. go figure.
