'88 bronco front axle

When I was doing work on the front hubs of my 88 bronco and it was up on stands, i noticed that when i turned one wheel the other turned the same direction. Does this mean that it a a limited slip differencial? I couldnt find any thing on the internet saying it was. The axle is the dana 44 IFS twin traction beam.

Thanks

It could. Would depend upon whether or not the front driveshaft was spinning as well. If so well, all differentails will let both wheels roll together in the same direction as long as the ring and pinion are moving as well. If not, then the front has some sort of traction assistance device in the carrier LS, locker, spool, something. If its the OEM gearing still in there, the axle tag should reveal whether there is a Dana Trac-Lok in there. The tag will have an L in the number designating a "limited slip" setup.

You could also have someone hold one wheel while you tried to turn the other one.
