Hey there,
Was curious as to the purpose of these two copper plugs behind the horn button. I am currently not running a horn that uses the stock horn button, but after approx. 1000 miles(with Grant wheel) I can hear something making a scraping sound behind the horn button(inside the steering wheel area) whenever I turn the wheel. I changed to a Grant steering wheel and wasn't sure if I just didn't goof something up. I put a lttle dielectric grease on the copper plug end and it stop making the noise for a little while.
Any insight would be appreciated.
James
If you're working on your '77 and it's the origional steering column then you have a cruise column and one is for your horn and the other is for the cruise control.
