Question Seats in 01 Supercrew?

Does the Lariat package include wiring for the heated seats. Also wondering if I could replace front 60/40 seats with dual buckets and big center console; how do the seats and console mount?

Yes, you can swap any seats from a like-bodied truck into your cab. The wiring for the heated seats is simple if the switch is on the seat itself and not the door. As for the seats, I am changing out my Vinyl Bench for a set of leather buckets that I bought on ebay for $250.00. All I have to do is run a 10mm tap into the pre-existing bolt hole that is currently plugged. I found a console for $45.00 as well. One thing to watch for is the seatbelt setup. If your's are a part of the seat, you need to replace the seats with one's that have built in seat belts as well or you will need to find some and mount them to the pillar. If you currently have seatbelts that are pillarmounted, you can use either type.

Thanks, the two bucket and counsole are much better and hopefully can find them with heated seats because Duluth, MN has some extremely cold mornings; non-heated leather seats just dont make any sense! (At least in northern Minnesota!)

Anyone know of a company that sells OEM Ford seats or is a junkyard my only hope?

I found mine on Ebay. Check this guy out...

He has different seats all the time. I paid $250 for a pair of leather buskets from a 2001 Expedition. They bolted right up.

You can swap them no prob I'v done it on a 98 switched out the 60/40 for front buckets, the holes and mounts are already there in the floor 100%, and you dont need to tap anything, the threads are already there just a rubber plug in the hole. And even the console mounts are threaded into the floor from factory, dont think fords going to drill 10 different floor patterns for seat configurations that costs extra money at the factory, so like I said find the captain seats from the same year and no probs bolting them in, all youll need is some factory floor bolts, and cut the carpet THATS ALL... I DID IT!!!
