Does anyone else think there should be a mandatory retirement age (like 50 years or so) for rock singers? At least have some kind of testing/re-certification process
Actually I think Jagger looks healthier now than he did in the 70s/80s.
But in general - yeah - it reminded me of how much time has passed since their zenith and I feel a lot older this morning. Sometimes its better to just remember how good it was.............
At least there weren't any "wardrobe malfunctions". I think I would rather sit with the kids, watching some old guys (legend) rockin, than some idiots competing with the rest of the idiots for the most shock value. I did hear, however, that there were a couple of words cut out of the broadcast (5 second delay) for tv viewers.
A little class is better for 1/2 time shows. But most of the entertainers with class are dying off. Their replacements are, well, I wont go there.

I didn't like seeing a sixty plus year old man's stomach either, I don't care how healthy he is. Keith looks like the living dead, but hasn't he always?

That's funny, I made a comment last night that Micks gutt looked better than mine, and he's got a few years on me. And yes, Keith has always looked like the living dead.
I commend the Stones for still going at it after all these years. I agree that Mick looks pretty good for his age after the life he has led in the past. I hope when I get his age that I am still pounding the drums and jumping around like he did.
I enjoyed seeing them on stage. I'm Charlie Watts fan anyway.
Mick is a couple of years older than me and I told my wife last night that I wished I could move as good as he does now.
My arms do look alittle tighter than his but my stomache is alot bigger than his.
Never been a fan of his so I wanted to see them last night.
hell, i got tired watching them. but at some point keith & mick need to just run clips from "lets spend the night together" . it was painful to watch. i'm glad it was time delayed so we all couldn't see the guys change their Depends. God bless 'em though for getting out there.

The Stones still have it, they have done better shows for sure though.
They will out rock any of these news bands that are out today easily.
One thing I've realized...
I don't care how much I love and appreciate a band or an artist that performs for half time, it always comes down to the same end result.
Terrible.
Either it's because of bad accoustics, noise, terrible vocals, or the lip sync was off.... it's awful every single time. So I just skip it because I know I'm just going to be disappointed or embarrassed for them.

Man...if you look at some of Richard's pictures from '62 - '65 you wouldn't know it's the same person. Just shows you what "hard" living can do to you. Funny thing is plenty of people are fanatical about their health and get cancer in their 30's. I bekieve it's in the air/water. IMHO
