OEM Speaker Connectors

You can remove the connectors from your OEM speakers, and solder them to your upgraded speakers. This makes a neat installation, eliminating splicing wires, and you are sure your speakers will be phased right. Just shave a little
plastic off the connector, and solder it to the new speaker terminals.

Crutchfield included with my Boston Acoustics SL80s a set of "Ford Speaker Harnesses" - connectors that plug into the vehicle harness, push connectors on the other for the speaker.

I did notice that the polarity as documented by Crutchfield was backwards, at least for the polarity presented by my 2005 F250 SD wiring harness.

The polarity won't be a problem, as long as you use these adapters on ALL your speakers, so they will be in phase....
