dana 70 disk brakes
i was wondering if anyone has done a dana 70 rear disk brake conversion. i am planning on swapping a 70 drw in for a 60 on my '77 highboy, was wondering if stock dually rims would fit over the callipers if i did a disk conversion. i am taking the dump bed from the same '74 f-350 as the axle, so i want the duals and the heavier axle. i could drill out the hubs and get 9/16 studs on my 60 and put the duals rims on it, and i'm told they would clear a disk conversion on it, but i'd like a 70 if i can. any input would be helpful.

I'm running Blackbird's kit and am very happy with it. The truck isn't in town right now so I can't get a measurement off the calipers for you to check for clearance but e-mail them (name is Randy I believe) and he'll let you know if it'll work or not. That guy really knows his stuff.
