CPS Sensor failure
Took my truck into the Blue Oval dealer. F250 PSD had been stopping, missing for several weeks. Several days between episodes, then several each day on drive to work ( 10 miles each way).
Dealer had truck for 3 days. Backed up in deisel shop with 2003, 04, 05's with major engine problems.
Called me to let me know it was a Cam Position Sensor, and my cost was $100 .
I like the 100k mile warrenty on the drive train.
