fuel tank change

i recently lifted my truck with a 3 inch body lift and will be making long drives to college next fall so i was wondering if anybody knew of a good gas tank replacement option since theres so much more space under the bed now...i have a 16.5 gallon tank now and need more capacity

are you talking about front or rear tank? short or long bed

front can be 19 on long bed.

rear can use big bronco tank but no spare anymore underneath.

if you have rear tank, than the bronco 32 gallon tank is what you want.

of course new pickup is needed and new fuel pump a good idea.

also you may want to check out www.lmctruck.com... I too am looking for a larger tank than my stocker. i think its an 18 or a 19... they have a direct replacement 38 gallon tank, but again, you must lose the spare... it would be easier to just throw it in the bed anyways, esp if you have a toolbox on the bed, it can just slide right under.

cut the tank in half and make it 3 inches taller. After its all welded together get it lined on the inside and painted on the outside.
I have done it twice on F150 aft axle tanks and you will get about 28 gallons in the 19 gallon tank
