CHECK ENGINE #1133 and #1153 HELP!!
I have a 97 f-150 4.6 4x4 the check engine light came on a few weeks ago and I checked codes and got #1133 bank 1 fuel control shifted lean (FAOSC). AND #1153 bank 2 fuel control shifted lean (FAOSC). Can anyone please tell me what these codes mean,and what needs to be done to fix it? Also the fuel mileage has fallen off baddly only getting about 10 mile to the gallon was getting around 15 to 16 mile to the gallon could what ever those codes mean be the mileage problem also? thanks any help greatly appriciated.

Double check your codes. No such critters are listed in the factory manual.
I suspect you actually have a P1131 and a P1151.
If so, replace both of your upstream O2 sensors. Sounds like they are worn out.
