I'm in KY and it's saturday. I HAVE to be back in NC sunday night. Now my truck has gone insane. It all started this morning and has gotten worse and worse all day. With my truck in park and the engine running, when i touch the brakes i would hear a breif ginding noise then a hum. Then when I would touch the brakes even slightly the radio would turn off. Then with the truck turned off and the keys out when I touched the brakes the engine would crank. So of course with the keys in and the ignition on when I hit my brakes the truck would start. The truck seems to have to problems while driving. But I finally made it where i was headed and get out and shut the door. As soon as the door shut the engine started cranking and wouldn't stop so i had to yank the battery cable. WHAT THE >>>>>>
Look under the dash for wires rubbed raw. Maybe a short between the wires against the brake pedal mounting parts. Also check under the dash where the steering wheel bolts in. Just a place to start looking. Tell us the year and model.

Chk for water in the main plug that goes throught the fire wall.Or water leaking from windsheild on to fuse panel.
All else fails have it towed to the dealer.
We have seen crazy things when water gets in the plug connector.

Sounds like a bulldog remote starter gone wacky.. Disconnect all remote starters. If you don't have one check for aliens and have truck circumcised or have a catholic priest exorcise it right away. If that doesn't work then by all means tow it to a dealer they deserve that baby.
Circumcised? HOLLY COW!! The sheet metal is already thin on newer vehicles. I don't think that taking more off will help Did you mean exorcism? Just kidding. LindenBruce
