flowmaster question

I currently have a 50 series on my SD, is the 40 that much louder, and if so is it just under say hard acceleration,I don't want screaming exhaust at idle just
going down the road.

I'm running the 40 series and have grown tired of it. Is loud in general. The 50 is quieter at idle by a bit but the 40 on long rides is what I dont like. It just seems droney after a 100 miles or so. My neighbors **** and moan that my trucks to load when its warming up at 0445. I think my next will be dynomax duals staight out the back instead of the side dump.

I had the 50 series on my 87 Bronco (true duals with headers, 351W and other minor work) and it was way to quiet for me. I switched to the 40 series (not the Delta Flow) and love it.

40 Series (not Delta Flow): At idle it has a very deep melow rumble(not loud). Under normal acceleration it is very noticable, and under WOT it screams like a race car.

50 series: Barely noticable at idle, Somewhat noticable under normal acceleration but you almost had to listen for it, and sounded ok at WOT.
