differential change?

I've got a 70 f100 SB with a 240 6cyl and 3 speed. It has a 9" Ford differential. I'm going to be pulling a 360/c6 out of a 70 f250 and put it in my truck and I want to know if I'll be okay keeping the 9" differential? Thanks.

Sure it's ok, that's what was in the F100 throughout the 70's including 460 powered trucks.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I didn't need to make the change. I don't plan to do any heavy towing with the truck.
