5w20 oil?

5w20 oil?
The oil fill cap on my '04 Ex says 5w20. Does'nt this seem like a very thin weight oil for a big V-10? I would have assumed 10w30 or 10w40?
Yet another subject I'm confused about!

do a search! it is the best for your v10, alot of us are using full synthetic 5w20 it came from the factory with 5w20 synthetic blend. but serios do a search on here lots of post on the subject lots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well worn subject with as many opinions as posts. I use the Motocraft filter and 5w-20 oil. Both can be had at WalMart.
