FYI tow hooks

took off tow hooks to see how much one weigh-in. 5.6lbs less two bolts
because enquiring minds want to know.

up-date sway-bar comes in at 28lbs im going to the strip this weekend so im trying to lose a few lbs could take off the front drive shaft but looks like to much work.

How much do your rims and tires weight. Those are really easy to remove. Also the engine is very heavy, consider taking it out.

If you want to lighten the truck, fill the tires with hellium. Pu the excess bottle in the cab and inhale it. You may not be any lighter or go any faster but you'll talk funny. Good luck with that fast time.

I always thought wather was 8lbs ... I was told young ... "A pint is a pound the world around". Two pints to a quart and 4 quarts to a gallon = 8lbs.
