Timing marks for 2.3L

Timing marks for 2.3L
From what I can tell looking at the instructions for timing the 2.3L in the technical area, there is 2 marks on both the camshaft and oil pump sprockets. One is a diamond and one is a triangle. Is this correct? What would the engine run like if the triangle was used on both?
