Winch is Mounted!

Just finished installing a Milemarker 8000lb winch mounted in the Extreme Duty Milemarker winch mount. A HEAVY DUTY winch mount! Fits the truck and factory bumper perfectly. Easy install; remove the bumper, bolt brackets onto the frame where the tow hooks are, replace bumper and bolt on the mount. It weighs about 80lbs, all welded 3/8" Steel. I posted photos in my gallery. You have to remove the factory fog lights, so I'll probably sell them on Ebay. If someone wants them before I list them, shoot me an email.

Hey that looks nice, I love winches anyway..Does it come off easy?

The winch comes off easily with just 4 bolts. The winch mount can come off too, just reverse the steps. The bumper has to come off to gain access to the bolts holding the brackets to the frame. Total package weighs about 160 lbs, so get help!

looks great... be sure to get you a winch saver... with a 8k winch on a truck that size, it would come in handy. As a guy who has seen backlash first hand, you don't want to see it, believe me.

Got a winch saver and a ****** block, and 25 ft of extra cable for 16K pulls if need be. I'm not really wheeling with it, just getting to the duck blinds!
