Battery size (Group)?

What is the battery size used on our trucks (Group size)?

the correct answer is : 27F

Although they now don't seem to make the Ford version (F) anymore.

It is strictly 27 now.

I generally run a pair of the 27 series deepcycles with the stud and wingnut connectors, they're easier to clean, quick to remove, and if you have a boat or RV you can rotate them with your boat batteries that generally get abused. You can also pull them out quickly if you need a portable 12 volt suppy and can't reach it with jumpers.

hey quick tip the bolt that goes through the terminal has the same thread as the wing nut so (And starter sol.) so get 2 small extra nuts and thread them on right behind the nut on the battery bolt. so if you lose any nuts off the connections you have one right there. it will save your butt
