POST BELOW IS FROM YESTERDAY 1-31-06
(Was driving my 03 F-350 crewcab dually 6.0 diesel with auto trans today about 45-50 mph felt it loose power when I pulled over to the side it died. It would not start felt like it was not getting any fuel. I sprayed some starter fluid in the intake it fired up and stayed ideling. I shut it off and it would not start again until I sprayed some more starter fluid in the intake. I tried to drive it after I had gotten it started and it died. This truck has 133,000 mls has been a great vechicle with no problem at all.Any segestions would greatly help, I don't want to give it to Ford I will never get it back.) Thank you, Todd
I'm guessing probly fuel pump, had a chev, did the same thing,if the pump cooled down it would run for a bit, another thing it could be a cracked fuel line
