Now you are talkin. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately thats my birthday and I have a feeling I will have a serious hangover that day so I cant commit to anything right now. But I will keep this in mind.
I've been chatting with one of the guys in the Kansas chapter and there may be a couple of those folks attending the swap meet in Lincoln. They might like to meet up with us, if possible. That would be great since they have a pretty active chapter and could give us some tips on keeping the NE chapter alive.
I'm thinking maybe we could arrange to meet around 10:00am, either at a pre-determined spot on the fairgrounds, or maybe a local restaurant near the fairgrounds. I've never been on the fairgrounds so I am little hesitant to try and pick a meeting spot not knowing where anything is.
Are we still on for the swap meet on the 12th? Its looking more and more like I will be there. A buddy of mine will be vending so I will be there helping him out.
I am going to try to be at the swap meet but will have some chevy guys with me so they won't want to go to a ford meeting. If it is at the fair grounds I may be able to stop by and say hello.

I am definitely planning to attend... Still trying to figure out a meeting place at the fair grounds. Maybe we can meet just inside the gate, or possibly the Ag building that is used for vendors during the swap meet? Let me know your thoughts...
I dont think i'll be able to attend since I'm only 17 and the Parentals probably wont approve since we live south of Kearney. If you guys line up a meeting in the tri cities area let me know. thanks
Hey guys that sounds like a great idea. Another guy I know from another Nebraska forum is usually selling stuff at that swap meet. His name is Mike. He drives a white crew cab Ford. CB probably knows who I am talking about. Hes a member off that forum as well. Ive always wanted to go to that meet Just tell me the place an the time you will meet. I will try to make it. Is this in Ag hall at the fairgrounds/. Can you park reasonably close to the building.I know the state fairgrounds real well. I havent missed a state fair in years. Give me the lowdown a I will try to make this. CB tell your Chevy friends to stop by. I wont bite. The more people the better. OH Fordlover glad to see you on here. Nice to see new members. Welcome to the site youll love it. Kearney I know that town real well. Ive been down there many times. Oh I see your from Frankilin not to far away. Thats not far from Hildreth is it? They used to have big time tractor pulls years ago. If any off your friends are Ford fans tell them about the Nebraska forum. More mebers the better.
I know that its a long ways away yet but what about cruise night in kearney? We could all meet at the show and the watch and cruise later that evining. Even if it was just a few of us it still would be fun. just some food for thought.
