Little extra filler for the garage. Use to pull my 26' TT, but now sits patiently waiting for another trailer (probably wont put 1000 miles a year on until then).
I couldn't find a poll option to suit me just right, so I chose daily driver.
Here are a few reasons I bought my PSD:
1. sick to death of being cramped in small cars.
2. wanted something that would last a LONG time, planning to keep it a LONG time
3. eventually, a little later in this LONG time I plan to have a trailer or boat, etc.... to tow
4. I feel much safer riding in my big truck than just about anything else on the road, and I like being up higher than most people and seeing far ahead.
5. I love the power on tap, I love knowing I can haul/tow whatever I need to, and I love the flexibility of a truck... just carried about 500 pounds of 8' steel angle bar... not sure how that would've fit in my '90 celica.
6. We go on quite a few family trips with all the cousins/aunts/uncles etc. and I can COMFORTABLY carry 5 or 6 people and all their stuff.... and I've got 4x4 for the snow.
7. I think the F350 dually is just about the best looking thing on the road.
I just wanted a full size truck that i could afford to drive (17+ mpg) and last 300K miles. I tow 2 motorcycles but that could be done with a 4 cyc import.
Pulled the same trailer with my car (02 nissan altima), which I only drive about 100 mile a month now.
I love this truck.
We originally bought the 01 F550 CC 4x4 to tow our trailers, but it’s turned into the daily driver since the twins were born 4 weeks ago. It’s the only thing we own with enough room for car seats. Our other vehicles are an extended cab Ranger and regular cab F150. What can I say I love Ford trucks. The truck is too big to park in most parking garages, doctor’s offices, and hospitals. We are probably going to trade the Ranger in for an Explorer or something a little easier to find parking for with enough room for the kids.

Here are a few reasons I bought my PSD:
1. sick to death of being cramped in small cars. Also got tired of the daughter whine from the small back seats on long trips.
2. wanted something that would last a LONG time, planning to keep it a LONG time. My last one went 30 years and it weren't diesel. I expect this to be my last vehicle I ever buy. Seriously.
3. eventually, a little later in this LONG time I plan to have a trailer or boat, etc.... to tow Last one died towing a brand new trailer, which was fatal to that vehicle

There's a few reasons.....
I added a ton of stuff to this quote because the poll just didn't fit, but finally: I bought it BECAUSE it were FORD, had a big ole cab with four doors, and it had a DIESEL/ 6 speed that I knew something about AND I didn't have to smog it in CA. Thanks RYANEVERK2
oh yeah... the poll... dailly driver... pull the 5ver 6-8 times a year... but even if i didn't have a camper, i'd keep this truck... it really kicks butt over ANYTHING else i have ever owned..!
NOW THAT'S FUNNY...! i LOVE the flame paint job on the brat... how long do you think she'd pull that rig before the flames were REAL..!
Actually I think the tongue weight of our 5ver is more than what my Brat weighs. I just couldn't resist the shot and with a little photo shop action, erased the jacks and stuff, she's a hauling.

very clever little piece of photo editing..! it made my day..! lol..!
How about owning a PSD just because I LOVE IT! I don't own a 5th, don't use it for work, it's just a nice a$$ truck to drive whenever I feel like being KING of the road.
