Whistling heater
I have a 2001 E150 5.4l gas. At high RPMs it it sounds line the heater core has turned into a tea kettle! It could also be describe as screaming. I was told this is normal, but I question the source. Any suggestions for a fix?

Not counting something particular about a 5.4, bleed the air out. The easiest way to bleed vans, since their heater core is sometimes above their radiator cap level, is to put the front end on jack stands to make the radiator higher and just run the engine with the cap off.
