Window Vents

Window Vents
Had a Toyota Previa with window vents taped to the door, which made no noise. I now have a 97 Ford E-150, came with the vents tucked inside the frame, into the window channel. I have a lot of wind noise. Anyone know if this is caused by this style of vent, and can you buy vents for this van, which are taped on? Thanks.......
