Just thought about this a little more (or more to the point just realised the obvious).

When you are injecting Nitrous, you will be in open loop... i.e. the computer won't compensate for anything...

Another one of those million dollar questions: exactly when is it you are in open loop? TPS voltage = ? Something else, something more?

Open loop occurs under three conditions.

Cold start, while waiting for:
A. CTS to indicate thermostat opened.
B. O2 sensor to be warmed up.
C. Wide open throttle (It's supposed to be 90% of TPS, however I've seen it higher or lower depending on the vehicle).

It will really depend.
It will be calibrated on throttle opening).
But it is surprising early - anything over 70-80% throttle (irrespective of rpms) with throw it into open loop...
So, whenever you may want to use it (i.e at WOT) you can't...
