Tank leak?
I have a 95 F150 2wd with the 300 6cyl. The 2 tank option. I noticed today that I had a very small puddle/spot under my rear axel so I slid under to take a peek and noticed that the stain on the cement was sticky and brown, like thick maple suryp. I smelled it and it smelled of gas so I rolled over and looked up and the front of my spare tire is coated in this stuff. I have decided that one of my 2 tanks has a leak somewhere, but it appears to be only when the truck is running. There is no dripping or anything while parked. What is the easiest way to find out which tank is leaking and locate the leak? For now I am planning on running that tank to empty and not using it until next fall when I can go through the underside/back end.

I have decided that it has to be a line somewhere, because it is only when the truck has been driven, meaning that there is pressure in the lines. Anything special that I need to do to make sure I don't take a gas shower when I replace the lines?
