where does it not seal? try sliding a dollar bill along the door's edge and see where it just slides through with no resistance.

If the whole door doesn't close tightly then you can adjust the door striker bolt. To adjust this bolt you will need a big TORX bit. Before adjusting the bolt be sure that you mark the current location incase you get lost with the adjustments. Also before adjusting the bolt make sure that there is a plastic sleave on this bolt if it is missing then the door will rattle lots. If it isn't there go to the parts store and have your helpful parts man find one for you in the HELP section.

If this is a new seal, just live with it for while if you can.
The door will eventually be easier to close after the seal gets squished under normal wear.

I bet the plastic bushing that is supposed to be on the door striker is gone. They get brittle and then break and fall off. If that is the problem, you can get a new one at most autoparts stores.

If you need a new plastic part for the striker check to see if the washer will come off first. If the washer won't come off it is best to just get a new striker bolt complete with the plastic bushing.
