Yes guys and gals. It has been almost 2 years since Ive put any work into my truck. I updated my gallery for you to have a look. My liquids are all in place, next is wiring and sheetmetal- SWEET!..... oh wait! I still need to finish my brake lines- doh!
Neat ride and you are still doing even more on it, that`s great! Are these trucks ever done? Mine isn`t even as close to being done as your`s is, must get going on it soon......
Yeah, long story. After the smoke settled, I still have my truck, and the time to build her. I bought a house (in So.California) which in itself is a MAJOR accomplishment for a guy like me, and now have the time and resources to finish what I tore down. I installed the IFS, was screwed around by my "buddy" that started the job, and was in way over my head. I got the truck back from his abandoned business, and there were parts missing, and the IFS install was half completed.
Bad situation, and I had to finish the install. I was a little overwhelmed, but diddnt give up. Finally Im able to finish what was started, and Im seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. FINALLY! My truck looks a lot different than it did when I took it in to get IFS. (not for the better either)
Im starting to see a vision, and Im very glad. Whew!
Richard,
Any progress is good progress! Sorry to hear about your misfortunes with your buddy's shop. Hopefully it won't take too long to get it back in shape. The earlier pics do look nice.
Good Luck,
Kent
