Unhappy Hard to turn over when running for 10 min

The motor is hard to turn over when the truck has been running. Is my starter getting heat stroke? I have a 90 F350 with 460EFi. I cleaned all the grounds to the battery and the starter.

Could it be a weak voltage on the battery?

i would replace both positive and negative cables. even if they look ok im sure they are original equipment. go to a 1gauge as well. are you running headers ?

I have the stock manifolds and the pipes run really close to the starter.

i would still look into replacing the battery cables. you would be amazed at what a new set will do not only for starting but for your entire electrical system.

I would also look into a heat shield or wrap for that starter. i imagine its getting far to hot and causing some of this issue as well.

Thanks for the replies,

I will try the new cables. I have a heat shield wrap from my old mustang that I will put on.
Thanks.
