Changing fuel filter in 99 expy?

Changing fuel filter in 99 expy?
Where is the fuel filter located in a 99 expy with the 5.4, also how do you relieve the pressure from it?. I've heard there is a switch on the passangers side kick panel for this, can you guys help me with this thanks in advance.

The fuel filter is on the Left side inside the frame near the front of the fuel tank.
You need a quick disconnect tool to release the filter from the lines.
In the engine compartment on the Right side on the fuel rail (chrome) is a test connection (schrader valve) that looks like a tire valve stem. Put a rag over it to catch some gas and depress the valve stem to release the pressure on the fuel system.
Take the plastic caps off of the new filter. When you disconnect the old filter put a cap on the open end to keep the gas in until you can safely drain it.
