need help with parking brake cable

i have a 99 eb and last week i noticed that the parking brake pedal pushes all the way to the floor, lower than usual. i looked around the area and it looks like everything is there. when i release the brake cable, it just sit there instead of jumping up and releasing it self. i was wondering is there something loose or something i can tighten back up?

you can adjust the shoes , but your spring probably broke.

the eb has all rotors all around, and where can i find this spring? thx

I think you will find the rear has both pads and shoes.

Correct. Similiar design to the 1965-82 Corvette. Miniature drum for the parking brake surrounded by the rotor for the disc brake system. The whole assembly is subject to corrosion-related sticking problems. Don't discount the possibility of a frayed parking brake cable binding within the sheath.
