Wrecker
A new album in my gallery called "Two Old Fords" has a photo of a late '40's wrecker on what I believe is an F-5. My brother acquired it when he helped to clean some land south of town.

That's a nice clean '42-'47 wrecker. Hopefully somebody will give it a good home.

! The "wrecker-body" on the back of it is a "Bomb-sling" from WWII. I wrecked out 10 of them almost 40 years ago ! Didn't think there were any around anymore. Wrecking yards used them around here for years. Nice find. FABMANDELUX.

I'll try to get some more shots this weekend. Hopefully, the local 'weather-guesser' is wrong about it raining all weekend long! A local fellow here has one of these rigs on an old c***y that he still uses as a wrecker. Also, I have seen them used for loading/hauling propane tanks and burial vaults.
