Ok, Need C6 Help!
Ok, so my bros 79 F150 with a 429 and a C6. Originally it had reverse only with no forward gears. So, took it out and tore it down. The band was almost gone and burned pretty bad. Forward clutch pack was completely gone, no friction material left, and the piston disc spring was broke in about 3 places. So, I rebuilt it replacing everthing I could see that had a problem. I also used another valve body I had just for grins since it had a shift kit. Got it back together, and it still has no forward gears. Is there any kind of common problem with these I missed? Its obviously a forward clutch pack issue, or something in that circuit because the apply chart shows its applied in all forward gears manual or drive. Hopefully someone can give me some insight on whats goin on, thanks!
