Hmmm...That's not a bad idea! I quit detailing my rubber floor mats and pedals with all those brands of dash shine because they make the pedals too slippery. Now I'll have to give the Mop-N-Glo a try.:-)
I use to use Mop-n-Glow back in the 70's on my tires. I would scrub them down good and but a good coat on. It would last forever. I used it on my 66 Mustang. I still have them and there is no CRACKS in the side walls. When they get yellow, scrub them good and put on another coat for another couple of months.
I would be leery of using anything on the plastic, vinyl, rubber etc that would crack leather...I too have seen the results of mop n glo on leather combat boots, a terrible waste of a perfectly good pair of boots...
Now Pledge is a little different...Its available in handy wipes and aerosol sprays a little goes a long way and I figure if its good enough for my fine furniture its good enough for the truck...
Lets the wood breath and prevents it from drying out, same goes for the vinyl, rubber plastic etc...
(ok ok...so pressboard and milk crates dont count as fine furniture, but it does work on the truck....)
We used mop & glo on the mx bike. It does help keep the mud from sticking but after repeated uses it starts to yellow. Then the work really gets serious to get the color back. I would avoid using on a regular basis. Just my .02.
