ill send you a pic in the morning. i know one end goes into the pump (the pump is the thing w/ the pully right?). where does the other end go? am i all mixed up? thanks

the higher one in pic goes to air injection reactor (smog pump) rear.

the arrow goes to the a.i.r. to convertor pipe that eventually reaches the convertor but is hidden in picture.

so it attaches to the exhaust pipes yes? i thought thats where it goes...mine is rusted off...so now i ask, how do i re-attach it...OR since i am getting new exhaust, what if i just don't connect it and actually rid of the whole pump...i guess what this boils down to is what does this do...do i need the smog pump/smog system? (i have already disabled the egr tube (tube from exhaust. man. to intake man.) because it was split and was thinking about ridding that part of it too).

if your state does not do inspections than you can.

do not throw everything away though.

a lot of people get rid of cats and air pump. do a search. your serpentine belt has to change for one thing

ya i assumed that....what CAN i get rid of...can i throw away that stupid coffee can? and does this affect mileage or how the truck runs or does it basically add up to reducing smog?

can you need to keep, if i remember right.

like i said a lot is written on this already, just hit search.

you will be adding smog to the air, not reducing it.

ya smog system reduces smog....alrighy ill do a search...thanks so far...ill keep up on this. i hope to have most of it all connected by this weekend.
