Angry help!! 00 Psd stalling

ok this is where it all started back in sept i ran my psd out of diesel 2 times (never again)!!!and in the process of trying to bleed air off we bent the top fuel line on the driver side all the way to where it wouldnt seal. I fixed it with a little rubber hose patch just to get me by until i found a line. well soon after when i first started my truck for the day it would run for around a minute then die, i would fire it back up after a little cranking it would run for the same amount of time and die again, usually the third time it will fire up and stay runninig until i get a block from the house then it will try and die. I have to dump the clutch in third gear just to get it running becasue by this time the batteries are just about dead. Last month i had to replace the fuel pump and filter. this week i parked the truck in the garage and devoted some time to fixing a few little things. I bought the fuel line and installed it also had to replace both batteries ans the fuel filter. yesterday i got it all back together and it started first try didnt die or anything it sat for prob 4-5 hours then i tryed to start it again and it died about a min later which is frustrating because i thought the fuel line that i replaced is where the problem was now im clueless i was getting ready to do the ccv mod and disable the wastegate but now i cant find the problem anybody have any ideas...clues or have ever had this problem before?

Once you get it running for the third time does it run all day without stalling?

Hmmm. Is the fuel bowl draining out? I don't think the HPOP is draining, not much experience in that area, but from what I've read it wouldn't start at all with a dry HPOP.

When was the last time you changed your oil? I know it sounds far fetched but one of the members of FTE cured a stalling problem with an oil change.
His handle is "fastforward" and lives near me.

I have heard of that it is due for an oil chage but it seems fuel related to me but it only really does it till it gets warm

That was fastforward's problem as well. He would be coasting up to a red light and it would simply stall. The oil change cured it.

HPO reservoir can't drain back. Oil enters from LOP up thru a standpipe to near the top of the cover. IF oil drains OUT of the HPO reservoir, its going "forward" thru the HP lines towards the injectors, and gravity ain't gonna do that.

Usually if you messed w/ fuel and have trouble starting it indicates you have air in the system. How it is getting in I don't know maybe small leak in the new hose? Let us know what you find

You mean the dipstick tube? That's the only oil line that I can think of that goes through the side of the pan. Mine was "sweating" and I tightened up the big nut that holds it in, now dry. Don't overtighten, just snug it up.

Low oil or bad oil. I've delt with this issue personally a couple of times. Good Luck!

That makes me feel better. I was wondering if I was developing a problem. Looks like I've got some snuggin to do tomorrow.
