hey kwik new info on the truck i been experimenting to try and figure out the problem and if i plug it in and let it get the block warm it will start up and wont die at all does this give you or anyone else any insight?
And it won't start cold? That's always a glow plug failure.
Rather than type it all over again, check at the top of the forum for the Official Glow Plug thread.
Have you tried topping off the oil and/or changing it out? What oil are you using? I've learned that the oil is a critical part of what operates the injectors. If the oil is even a little low or poor quality it won't provide the consistent high pressure needed. I may be missing something, but your issue sounds like this to me. I have stalled going down the highway and added oil to solve the problem. I've also stalled or almost stalled when starting out because of low oil. I use Delo 15w-40.
