I happen to like Cat's products a lot (and particularly thier after sales service), but you cannot slam thier opposition for no apparent reason.

no technical evidence to offer either except the next paragraph . just anecdotal evidence to support that CAT has a following, like John Deere and Harley.
I believe the HEUI injection that Navistar used on the 1st version of PSD's was developed by Caterpillar.
FWIW, the slogan " IF IT AINT A CAT, ITS A DOG" is from some of CATS own materials.
just seemed some people have issues with the name. no matter that they are a worldwide leader in Diesel Engine technology and pretty much introduced the diesel engine to the american construction equipment market quite a few years ago.

I understand that you might be frustrated because of Duramaximizer's opinion towards CAT after he mentioned it in the other thread...but that's no reason to start another thread blatenly(sp?) brand bashing (yes, it's brand bashing, your little joke isn't fooling anyone) all other diesel companies, while at the same time insinuating that certain members on this board are ignorant.

I can't believe how ignorant and disrespectful people can be. You do NOT bash a moderator. It's like being disrespectful to your parents, you just DON'T do it. It's pretty bad that I just turned 18 and know how to respect folks. So grow up and start respecting people. If you can't handle that, then you need to find somewhere else to go rant and rave.
