460/360 swap
I have a 70 CS F250 with dual tanks. Thinking of putting in a 460/c6 out of a Lincoln. Will the longer tailhousing of the C6 from the Lincoln clear the side gas tank? Right now it has a 360/c6 with the short tail housing.

460/360 swap
Swapping the tail housing/shaft would be the way to go because you won't have to modify the crossmember and the driveline. It cost me almost $100 just to weld & balance a driveline (2 welds). I even cleaned/disassembled all the parts that I had shortened on a lathe and I had purchased all new joints and center bearing beforehand. I would hate to see what the bill would be if I let him do all the time consuming work.
