It took awhile to manufacture the rest of the parts for the mod, but I'm pretty happy the way it came out. I have a very small amount of vapors exiting the hose at 1200 RPM fast idle so I probably don't need the vent trap at all. Since I already made it, it's installed. The interesting part was the amount of additional backpressure it put on the vent hose. I used about 14 ft of 3/4 hose to reach the rear axle and had 5 in WC backpressure measured at the doghouse with an open hose. After connecting the vent trap, the backpressure increased to 7.5 in WC. It appears that my vent is equal to an additonal 7 ft of hose or 21 ft overall! I really like the SS vent tube eliminator I made from exhaust pipe and polished it on the buffing wheel. A little sparkle under the hood.

Guzzle, nice work and good right up. I just want to know more about your design for the vapor catcher. I made one from a design over at TDS, it's ok........
Very Nice guzzle. When I first looked at your prototype page and saw that tomato can I started having doubts, but that last picture looks awesome. This is just what I've been looking for because I didn't really like the idea of spraying oil everywhere.
