3rd brake light
been kind of looking for a 3rd brake light for my metal topper on the '72. havent found anything that looked like it might work, until... this morn I stopped at Wally World, and just happened to see a chrome LED marker lamp that fit perfect. it even had a logic circuit in it, so when my turn signals are on, it doesnt flash. not super bright, but plenty good at nite. About 6" long, and has 4 led's in it. Best of all, it was on the clearance rack for $10.

not much room
I didnt have much room to play with, and with the metal tubing on the inside, couldnt cut it in flush. My store only carries the bare essentials for elec stuff. If they stock them, they've prob all been shoplifted, not a very good crowd.
