I am looking to buy a Paint removeing gun to do some work with and would like to know who makes the best one's. They come in ether a 500 1000 dregree or a verible dregree range, which one would be the best for concreate work? I need to remove some drement off the floor from carpet.

I have a Craftsman Pro heat gun that I have used for decals on equipment. I like the variable temperature guns over the switched style because you can change as you go. I have a 4" putty knife stile shield for mine that works great, but you need to vary the heat occasionally.
Always let your heat gun cool completely before putting it back in your tool box, or wrapping the cord around it!
I have seen them priced at $15.00 to the Milwaukee one for $40.00, not sure which one to get. I hate putting money out for one that is cheap and money wasted so which one would you feel is a good deal.
For my money the Makita Hot Air Gun is the one (HG1100). I think you get what you pay for. Makita have always worked very well for me. I have a full set of their cordless 18V tools and they are superb.
